Had it this weekend. Everyone was exceedingly generous and basically bought my entire registry. Yes, I know that having the registry on the invitation is tacky. That's why we didn't do it. People who asked were simply told about it and that was all.
Really, it was primarily my personal shopping list. I fully expected to go out today and buy everything on it as well as any of the other little things we thought we needed. Turns out, we only had to get a few of the other "little things" and some oddities we hadn't thought about.
So now Junior is all decked out and has everything his little self could need and a finished nursery.
