I'm coming Ms. Arden!!!!

Office formal today. Also my first time ever at a Spa.
I am a low-maintenance kind of girl. I'm uncomfortable having strangers touch me. And I am not a person who tends to feel comfortable in excess anyway. But Hubby had given me a gift card for a day of pampering way back on Mothers' Day and I needed to be beautified so it seemed if any moment was a good one, this was it.
So, color me shocked when I *LOVED* it. And I mean L-O-V-E-D. As in I'd like to marry the Spa and make babies with it.
Seemed like a travesty to go off in my $35 Target evening gown (yes, they sell evening gowns at Target. And remember? I said I was low-maintenance? See...there it is). But off we went.
And to be honest, after going and seeing everyone? There seriously must be some "interesting" definitions of "Black Tie" floating out there. Because my super-cheapo, silk, Mizrahi? Did not look cheapo or tacky at all. Not comparatively.

I LOVE the spa! I do! Everything about it from the soothing music to the fragrances to the pampering. I used to have spa day with the girls twice a year. Since pregnancy and baby, I've been once in the past 2.5 years. It's so sad.

I'd never claim to be low maintenance, but I do know what to cut when time and money need to go to the kiddo. But when I have a little more time and money, I'm back to the spa!

Hope the formal was fun!
