We had a long night last night. Sasha was at his Grandma's yesterday and now he's absolutely coated in hives. He's so itchy. But it's still better now than it was last night.
I'm not going to bother taking him to his pediatrician. In fact, I need to find a new one. His current seems to belong to the apparent masses of health care professionals who do not beleive in any sort of ailments, to include allergies. Their advice to "put some baby lotion on it. Breastfed babies don't have allergies" is not the helpfullest thing ever. Especially since he is also allergic to most baby lotion. And they have no explanation for his hives other than they can't possibly be hives. Because of the non-existance of allergies.
We're trying to figure out exactly what it was. The detergent? The carpet? Probably never know.
Is it just us? Or are all doctors getting into this habit of simply not acknowleging obvious symptoms?

Ugh! I hope it goes away soon and you find a good doctor.
If you are anywhere near Rockville, I can recommend a fantastic practice. Email me if you are interested.
