It's only a worry if we must escape on a PB&J boat

We watched Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs for the first time last night.
I have to say that watching it with Sasha made a very silly movie into a highly enjoyable experience. I think primarily because we’ve gone back to the phase where every evening he requires 3 dinners.
He was fascinated by the foods falling from the sky and kept saying “ooooooh, what’s that, Mommy? I love that! I’m going to eat it all gone with my mouth!!!” Often without waiting to hear what the food was and most frequently during the parts where the food appeared in ridiculous sizes. He was going to save his school if a pancake flattened it by eating the whole thing himself.
He would save Mommy and Daddy from the roast chicken army by hacking them to pieces with his sword and eating them all gone.
A spaghetti tornado would pose no trouble to anyone because he would stand with his mouth open and slurp it up when it came.
This was of course right before Dinner #1 where he ate a short stack of pancakes, several slices of bacon, 2 eggs scrambled with cheese, a bowl of fruit salad and a slice of chocolate chip banana cake for dessert. These were his requests.
I do find we’ve been blessed with a good eater. Someone who eats a wide variety of food and plows through large quantities of it. It’s wonderful and a pleasure to have someone like that to cook for!

I'm just always amazed by how much that kid consumes! Are you scared of his teenage years yet? He's going to eat you out of house and home! ;-)
